Your 5-Minute Rebellion: Stretch It Out 💪🏽

Hey Reader,

Have you ever been in a yoga class or doing a meditation and you get the prompt to relax your jaw? It's in those moments that I realize just how much tension I'm holding there.

This week I’ve been noticing the ways that I tense up—shoulders raised, jaw tight, back hunched over my laptop. Maybe you’re feeling it too?

So here’s your spark of rebellion to start the week feeling a little looser and a lot more human.

5-Minute Micro-Movement Challenge

🔥 This Week's Rebellion:

Set a 5-minute timer. Stretch.

Neck rolls. Shoulder shrugs. Forward fold. Wrist circles. Reach for the sky. You don't even have to stand up. Do whatever feels good to you.

Do it in between meetings, while waiting on hold, or mid-scroll. When the timer ends? You’re done.

(Bonus points if you do this during a Zoom call.)

Why It’s Rebellious

Movement isn’t just about getting physically fit. It’s about reclaiming your body and calming your mind, especially in environments that ask us to shrink, sit still, or stay locked into screens. This tiny act of care is a reminder: you are not a machine.

Hey Reader, The holidays bring a flood of invites, traditions, and unspoken expectations. Before the season sweeps you up, take five minutes to make a list of things you don’t want to do this year — the events, obligations, or habits that no longer feel aligned.
