Your 5-Minute Rebellion: Protect Your Peace

Hey Reader,

When was the last time you said no without guilt?

In the rhythm of responsibilities and constant connection, our boundaries can quietly blur. This week’s act of joyful defiance is about reclaiming your edges, remembering that rest, space, and saying no are not selfish, but sacred.

Protect Your Peace

This Week's Rebellion:

Your 5-Minute Boundary Check:
Take five minutes today to pause and ask:

“Where have I said yes lately when I really meant no?”

Jot down what comes up, whether it’s overcommitting at work, overextending socially, or even overthinking for others.
Then pick one boundary to lovingly protect this week.

Maybe it’s:

  • Logging off at a set time
  • Skipping one event to rest
  • Letting someone else take the lead for once

Boundaries aren’t barriers they’re bridges back to yourself.
Every time you say no to what drains you, you create space for what truly matters: presence, peace, and purpose.

Why It’s Rebellious
In a culture that rewards burnout and constant availability, protecting your peace is a radical act.

This week, rebel with softness — and remember, the most joyful people often have the strongest boundaries.

Hey Reader, The holidays bring a flood of invites, traditions, and unspoken expectations. Before the season sweeps you up, take five minutes to make a list of things you don’t want to do this year — the events, obligations, or habits that no longer feel aligned. Think of it as your permission slip to create space for what actually feels nourishing. This month, I was honored to partner with the Public Health Law Center on...
